Balance the Books!
Through our connections with the charity New Writing North, we are now taking part in the Balance the Books scheme. ‘Balance the Books’ is designed to ensure that authors from all different cultures, races, religions and diverse backgrounds are represented on our library shelves. As part of the program, Balance the Books have gifted us with over 100 books by 20 different authors to celebrate diversity. We’re very proud to be included in this new scheme as it will enhance our already wonderful reading culture at Callerton Academy.
