View PostYear 11 at Callerton Academy: As part of our Year 11 Celebration Assembly, we shared a special photo montage looking back on the last five years of memories, achievements and experiences that have shaped the Class of 2026. From their first days at Callerton Academy in Year 7 to the confident young people they are today, the video captured just a small snapshot of the friendships formed, opportunities embraced and milestones achieved along the way. Whether in lessons, on trips, performing on stage, competing in sports, taking part in clubs and enrichment activities, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, these photographs tell the story of a year group that has made a lasting mark on our school community. Looking back reminds us just how far our students have come and how many memories have been created throughout their time at Callerton. Thank you, Year 11, for five fantastic years. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and wish you every success in the exciting journey ahead. #CallertonAcademy #GosforthGroup #CreatingFutures #Year11 #ClassOf2026 #Leavers2026 #CelebrationAssembly #SchoolMemories #NextChapter #CallertonFamily #CreatingMemories #ProudToBeCallerton

The afternoon featured a heartfelt speech from Mrs Innes, reflecting on the growth, resilience and successes of our students throughout their time at Callerton Academy. Our school choir, West End Skies, delivered a wonderful performance of Hearts Are Pounding, providing a fitting soundtrack to a very special occasion. Bharath and Lucie-Jo shared thoughtful reflections on their experiences at Callerton, speaking warmly about friendships, opportunities, the lasting impact their teachers have had on them, and the memories they have made over the last five years. Miss Robson spoke about how much she has loved being Year 11's Pastoral Mentor throughout their journey from Year 7 to Year 11, celebrating the unique personalities, achievements and character of this year group. We were also delighted to receive a special video message from Mr Davidson, who shared his best wishes and encouragement as students prepare for the exciting next chapter of their lives. From speeches and performances to shirt signing and final goodbyes, the morning was a wonderful celebration of a year group who have made a lasting impact on our school community. View PostYear 10 at Callerton Academy: As we approach the Year 10 mock exam period, we would like to remind students and families of some important expectations and procedures. Students should arrive on time and be fully prepared for each exam. Mobile phones, smart watches, earbuds (including AirPods) and any other electronic devices are not permitted in exam rooms. Students are under formal examination conditions from the moment they enter the exam room until they are dismissed. Transparent water bottles with labels removed are permitted. Students must follow all instructions given by invigilators throughout the exam. The mock exams are an excellent opportunity for students to experience formal exam conditions, identify strengths and areas for development, and build confidence ahead of their GCSE exams next year. We encourage all students to make the most of the revision opportunities available in school, establish positive revision routines at home, and ensure they are familiar with the timings and arrangements for each exam. Please take some time to look through the attached slides with your child, as they explain the mock exam process and expectations in more detail. #CallertonAcademy #GosforthGroup #CreatingFutures #Year10 #MockExams #GCSEPreparation #Revision #ExamSuccess #StudySkills #FutureReady
