Star reader Awards

Callerton Academy has it’s first ever Star Readers!

At the end of every half term, form tutors and Miss Anderson nominate one student each for the Star Reader Award. Teachers make their nominations based on students' resilience, determination, and passion for reading. Students are awarded with a very special prize including VIP access to the library at lunch time, where they receive extra goodies and prizes to reward their reading efforts. 

We are really proud of our first group of Star Readers; they have set the standard high with their excellent attitude towards reading, but we can't wait to see which students will win this award this half term!
