We are delighted to invite Year 6 students and their families, who are interested in joining us in Year 7, to visit Callerton Academy and discover what makes our school such an exciting place to learn, grow and succeed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience our new school building, which opened in September 2025, and explore the outstanding facilities, specialist learning spaces and vibrant environment that support our students every day.

What to Expect
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour our impressive new school building and facilities
- Meet our teaching and support staff, including our Year 7 tutors
- Speak to current students and hear about life at Callerton Academy first hand
- Learn more about our curriculum, enrichment opportunities and wider school experience
- Discover how we support every child to thrive academically, socially and personally.
- Find out more about the transition into Year 5 and the exciting opportunities available throughout their educational journey.
We want every child to feel excited about their next step in education, and our Open Evening offers a chance to experience first-hand the supportive culture and strong sense of community that underpin life at Callerton Academy.

Join members of our Senior Leadership Team in the school hall to hear more about life at Callerton Academy, our vision for young people, and the admissions process.
We will hold two presentations, both presentations will cover the same information, providing flexibility for families throughout the evening.

Our student ambassadors will guide tours of the academy and share their experiences of life at Callerton Academy.
