Come along to learn about ethos, values, curriculum and more. On the night you'll have the opportunity to step inside and see our school facilities, meet our teaching/support staff and speak to our students.
Dates for your diary:
- Wednesday 25th September: 5:00pm to 7.00pm
- Monday 30th September: 5:00pm to 7.00pm
What to expect:
- Meet our Principal and Pastoral Team
- Follow tours led by our students
- Talk to our current students
- Receive a copy of our prospectus
- Hear a talk from the Principal
During this evening, you will be able to meet with our staff and speak to our fabulous students to hear firsthand about their experience of Callerton Academy. There will be two opportunities to hear from the team at 5:05pm or 6:05pm. Our students will also show you around our current temporary site, which will help to provide a flavour of our ambitious curriculum and learning environment.
Our new, state of the art, permanent site will be our home from September 2025. This is an exciting £40 million project located in Westerhope. We will share more about this amazing space during the evening.
In January 2024, Ofsted praised our ‘broad and highly ambitious curriculum’ and highlighted that our students ‘enjoy a rich and varied set of experiences’. We are proud of this fact and encourage you to read our prospectus to learn more about our school and the Gosforth Group multi-academy trust.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at our Open Evening, and we ask you to register your attendance by completing our online form, which can be found here.
We are proud of the achievements our students make during their time with us. Part of Gosforth Group, post GCSE’s, we provide a seamless progression onto studying A Levels and BTECs at either Gosforth Academy or Jesmond Park Academy and see many students progress into higher education through our Group’s strong university links.
Please be aware, that as we are on a temporary site in the city centre, we have no visitor parking, so please use the city car parks, such as Blandford Square outside the Discovery Museum or the Grainger Town multi-storey car park located on Waterloo Street (opposite side of St James’ Boulevard to Discovery Museum).
Our Callerton Academy community looks forward to meeting you!
